The Cromwell ER1(3) Helmet for use with CBRN Kit is manufactured by Helmet Integrated Systems Ltd in the UK and Civil Defence Supply Ltd are proud to be one of only two UK distributors. The helmet forms part of the current UK Police CBRN protective clothing and equipment kit. Tested to ensure that the helmet can be worn wiht a CBRN ensemble without affecting the required protection factor. (EN136:1998).


The helmet has an adjustable headband, browpad and chinstrap and can be worn with without the respirator and hoods. Designed to be easily donned and adjusted with gloved hands the helmet is the perfect partner to CBRN ensemble.

  • Tested to ensure no interference with respirator faceseal (To EN 136:1998)
  • Weighs less than 800 grams
  • Manufactured from heat and impact resistant thermoplastic
  • Adjustable headband, browpad, and chinstrap (Wear with and without the respirator and hoods)
  • Easy donning adjustments with gloved hands
  • Retractable integral visor (Worn retracted when wearing the CR1 ensemble) & options on faceshield, hearing protection and more.
